About Me

Knit & Stitch grew from a simple love of crafting and community. It all started with sharing my knitting skills with neighbors just for fun! Seeing their faces light up as they created something beautiful sparked a passion in me – a passion for teaching and empowering others to discover their own creative potential.

Believe in your ability to create, and you’ll be amazed by what you can achieve. The only limitations are the ones you set for yourself. My own journey is proof. During the pandemic, I taught myself to sew and within four months was winning awards on PatternReview.com. If you’d like to read about my journey, please visit my blog: rosiesewstoo.com

I consider myself a lifelong learner. To deepen my knowledge, I am actively pursuing a sewing certification as a Certified Sewing Instructor through Palmer/Pletsch in Spring 2025 and Certified Knitting Instructor through the Craft Yarn Council in July 2025.

I am an active member on the Special Events Committee of the Northern Virginia chapter of the American Sewing Guild. I also teach Knitting classes at the Loudoun County Public Library. I find absolute joy in teaching and love to share my crafting skills with others!

I’d love to connect and help you find your passion. I know you have it in you- whether it be sewing, knitting or crocheting, let’s create something beautiful together!
