About Me

Knit & Stitch grew from a simple love of crafting and community. It all started with sharing my knitting skills with neighbors just for fun! Seeing their faces light up as they created something beautiful sparked a passion for teaching and empowering others to discover their own creative potential.

Believe in your ability to create, and you’ll be amazed by what you can achieve. The only limitations are the ones you set for yourself! My own journey is proof. During the pandemic, I taught myself to sew and within four months won sewing awards on PatternReview.com. If you’d like to read about my journey, please visit my blog: rosiesewstoo.com.

I am proud to be a Palmer/Pletsch Certified Sewing Instructor and am in the Certified Knitting Instructor Program through the Craft Yarn Council. (Complete in June 2025).

I am life-long student. When I am not studying, blogging, (sewing, knitting, or crocheting!) I assist on the Special Events Committee for the Northern Virginia Chapter of the American Sewing Guild. I also teach knitting classes at Loudoun County Public Library. I find absolute joy in teaching and love to share my crafting skills with others!

I’d love to connect and help you find your passion. I know you have it in you- let’s create something beautiful together!
